Welcome to our website

We are a thriving, friendly tennis club in Maidstone, Kent. We have teams competing  in local leagues and many other members who play "just for the fun of it". We have four courts, including three with floodlights and a small clubhouse.

Non-members can use our courts when they are not being used by members. Charges for this are currently 3 per hour for use by juniors and 6 for use by adults. In case nobody is at the club, instructions are displayed there about how to get access. Or why not join us!

New Coaching TeamZane Cheeseman

Coaching at the club is now run by Zane Cheeseman's company Hotshotz Tennis.

Zane (photo on right), previously a junior member at Maidstone LTC, was 4 when he picked up a racquet and started playing tennis.Since the age of 18 he has been coaching and still loves every minute of it. He's learnt to play and coach wheelchair tennis and picked up the Kent 2016 Achiever of the Year Award. In his former competitive years he played tennis against the likes of Andy and Jamie Murray. He started HOTSHOTZ in 2015 with the vision to set a new standard in tennis coaching in Kent and is currently training to become a level 5 LTA Coach.

“I’m Zane Cheeseman. I started playing tennis at 4yrs old and from the day I picked a racquet up I have had a passion for tennis so I set HotshotZ Tennis up in 2015 to pass my passion, experience and love for the sport on to others. My team of passionate coaches offer a tennis experience like no other, working with individuals, groups, schools and clubs to achieve their goals”

Public Access to the Courts

We encourage everyone in the local area to play tennis and run a pay as you play system as an alternative to joining the club. At most times there is at least one court available for any member of the public (adults or juniors) to come and play.

There are 2 ways of accessing as we are unable to take pre-bookings:

1. If any of our members are at the club when you want to play, just ask them and they will give you a voucher for each hour you wish to play.
2. If no members are present, there is a sign on the entrance gate which gives details of the key holder who lives adjacent to the club who should then be able to deal with your request.

Fees are 6.00 per court per hour for adults (over 18 years old) and 3 per court per hour for juniors.
